+ a JAF
+ firmware for Nokia 5800 RM-356 ( higher than RM-428 ).
Extract it to default directory (C
rogramFilesNokiaPhoenixProducts) and rename RM-356 to RM-428.
Start JAF, go into BB5 section. And choose manual flash and next files (their default destinations is
C
rogramFilesNokiaPhoenixProductsRM-428) :
1)Change RM-356_51.0.006_prd.core.C00 extension to C0R
(result – RM-356_51.0.006_prd.core.C0R), this for MCU Flash file.
2) For PPM Flash file we need RM-356_51.0.006_prd.rofs2.V05
3) For CNT Flash file we need RM-356_51.0.006_C04_prd.rofs3.fpsx (may be something similar)
Then in section “Flash setting” make sure that:
“Manual Flash”, “Factory set”, “Dead USB” are marked.
Connect your phone to USB and turn it off, press “Flash” and agree with warnings and turn your phone again with cable connected. (usual J.A.F. flashing in other words …)
