ProTube là ứng dụng YouTube đầy đủ với nhiều lợi thế hơn ứng dụng YouTube của Apple. Trong ProTube bạn có thể duyệt thông thường qua YouTube, xem video HD hoặc SD, quản lý tài khoản của bạn, bình luận ... Ngoài ra, bạn có thể tải một số lượng không giới hạn của các video YouTube và xem chúng offiline. Bạn cũng có thể tải về âm thanh mp3, vì thế bạn có thể nghe bất cứ khi nào bạn muốn.
Các tập tin tải về sẽ được hiển thị trong một giao diện đẹp hiển thị kích thước, độ dài, ngày và hình ảnh thu nhỏ. Các video/mp3 đã lưu có thể đổi tên, xóa hoặc gửi qua email. Tiến trình tải video/mp3 hiển thị quá trình, tốc độ và thời gian còn lại và có thể bị gián đoạn. ProTube chặn các quảng cáo để việc tải nhanh hơn. Tải đồng thời được hỗ trợ vô hạn. AirPlay được hỗ trợ để bạn có thể truyền video với TV của bạn. Hỗ trợ điều hướng đứng và nằm ngang.
