This was much enhanced from its predecessor. The most notable changes is on file browsing. Unlike the first version which prompt the user to input the path directory, version 2.0 now incorporates powlite module as means to do file browsing for each mode of operation. Another tweak to this version is by putting up application’s own folder “jarBOOM” and saves compiled and decompiled files in “jar” and “unjar” folders respectively.
Of course this version was made possible by yours truly, and credits goes to the original author particularly “White Tiger” and “as2007″. I would like also to mention “org.python.pydev.PyDevBuilder”, i’m not sure if they are the source of the original code.
OPERATION:
Operation is so simple. For COMPILING, just click on the “.MF” file of the extracted or decompiled jar files. For DECOMPILING, and SENDING JAR, just click on targeted jar file.
Tip: Powlite file browser adds ease to file browsing by clicking numeric keys which correspond to group of alpha characters for fast searching.
ERROR: “INVALID MODE: W”
Cases of “invalid mode: w” error occurs with some jar files during decompilation, this is not a bug with regards to the programming of jarBOOM, the most possible cause is in variation of compiling process from other compiler tools, if this occur, do the decompiling by means of x-plore or other decompiler.
Requirements:
Needs Python interpreter (PyS60), Script Shell and ModulePack
